John 3:5-8 NIV
[5] Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. [6] Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. [7] You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ [8] The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

If someone approached you and declared their love for you, wouldn't your initial reaction be to inquire, "What do you truly know about me?"
This individual might have heard of you or formed an idea about you, but that does not equate to genuinely knowing you enough to love you.
Even if they had read about your life in a book, it still wouldn't suffice to say they know you well enough to love you.
They could idolize and hold you in high esteem, but you would remain skeptical of their claim to love you.
Wouldn't Jesus feel similarly?
Truly knowing Jesus involves having His Spirit within us. It stems from cultivating an intimate relationship with Him, not merely reading about Him or learning about Him through books or discussions.
Certainly, learning about Him should be the starting point, but evolving that into a living, breathing relationship is the next crucial step.
He is risen. Let's seek Him.
