The book of 1 Chronicles was written to inspire the Israelites after the Babylonian exile. After centuries of devastation, they would have needed to keep their focus on God and what He had done for Israel in the past for strength.

What do you have in order to keep yourself strong in the Lord when crises hit? What do you look back on to keep yourself strong and inspired?

For me, it is His faithfulness. Every time I was down and discouraged, I always found Him doing incredible work around me. Even though I lost sight of Him, He was always working on the next step according to His good plan.

The hope that no one else could provide.
