When we used to run a preschool as a ministry, Helen would prepare all the work for the kids each day. Given the myriad of activities in the Montessori program, she carefully selected just the right activities tailored to each child's needs and interests.

Her goal wasn't merely to keep the children occupied for the day or to achieve something to make herself look good. Rather, she had one objective in mind: to nurture their growth with enjoyment and excitement. Once the kids realized this, they fully trusted in Helen's love for them.

I believe God's preparation of good works for us is similar. It's designed for us to grow closer to Him. Through these experiences, we come to see how much God loves us as we face our challenges with excitement and enjoyment.

Whatever you do today in His name, remember one thing without question: you will see how much God loves you.
