Happy Birthday Lonwabo!

 ‭2 Corinthians 1:12 NIV‬

[12] Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.

It is a very hard thing to determine because it raises the question, "Is our best enough?"

Is it enough? If we have done nothing wrong, are we at no fault? No, right?

I may have caught you there because what Paul is speaking about isn't merely whether we did nothing wrong and kept our promises in our conscience.

It is about following his heart and guidance. Just because we kept the commandments and didn't break any rules doesn't mean we are good. It is about seeking Him in every single thing we do.

If our heart is truly aligned with having God's will done in our lives and in all we do—as my friend shared with me this morning—there will be no mistakes. Even if we do make mistakes, we will see God turning them into His glory.

So, let's not measure ourselves against rules and morality alone, but by seeking His guidance each day.

Then, we can proclaim that we relied on God's grace.
