God heals our hearts and restores us. The reason is so that we can know what it means to have faith in Him. All the baggage of broken hearts and mistakes that caused all kinds of trouble in our lives drove us away from God.

When He heals us, we can freely taste what it is like to have faith in God and live a life that He prepared for us.

Then, we can choose. We can go back to the way we were or follow Him and continue to grow.
