Papama said to me this morning, "A brand new year, untouched and unspoiled."

One of the greatest blessings we have as human beings is our ability to forget. All the things that hurt or discourage us, we can simply leave behind. Even the mistakes we make can be forgotten as we move forward.

This is not about being irresponsible; it's about being faithful to the covenant of Jesus Christ. Since He has given us the privilege to rely on Him and to be guided through our inadequacies, we are encouraged to let go of our past and hope for a bright future in Christ.

This is possible because we never forget our gratitude to Him for all He has done. We remember all the incredible and significant events that have occurred in our lives because of Him and for Him.

I want to praise you for your faithfulness and the wonderful work you're doing in the Lord. My confidence is not in myself, but in the love of Jesus Christ that I have witnessed in you.

Enjoy the new year and continue to move forward in His name. We have an exciting year ahead of us.
