What if I told you that you are Superman and you could fly? What if I told you that bullets would bounce off of you? What if I told you that you could shoot a laser beam through a steel door with your eyes?

How would things change if you were Superman? No money for a taxi? No problem, you would fly to the destination. Dangerous gangs in the neighborhood? No problem. A broken toilet door knob would never stop you from taking care of business. You wouldn't hide your abilities and would not faithfully pay for a taxi or hand over whatever you have to gangs, right? And waiting for someone to come and help you get out of the toilet you are trapped in is never fun in any extent of imagination.

That is what happens when we believe in something or someone.

So what happens when we believe in Jesus?

Of course, we will be saved, but here Jesus says when we believe in him, we will be doing the works He has been doing.

Just like you would be happy flying anywhere and fighting off gangsters, you would be doing what Jesus has been doing, and you would believe that you are capable... if you believed in Jesus.

Don’t worry about it if you didn’t believe in him, but if you did, do what Jesus has been doing. Whatever you think it is, that is where you should start. If you found out that you were Superman, you wouldn't go jump off the building to fly as the first thing to test it out, right? You should test it with more manageable and safer things, such as trying to shoot a laser beam with your eyes or slapping your butt to see if it hurts. So don’t try to bring salvation to the world at first, but share Jesus' true love with one another. Start with small things, and witness what Jesus does with the small things that you have done.
