Perhaps, our youngest Vuku members in CMC in Bloekombos? It all depends on Namhla.

Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

Here's the cliché question: "If you had only one hour left to live, what would you do?"

If I had one day, it would be a different question. For one hour, I would sit right where I am and think. I'd reflect on my life and the people I love. I would try to appreciate what I have so that I won't have many unresolved issues or unfulfilled dreams to weigh on my mind as I go.

Unresolved and unfulfilled... We live our lives yearning for something to happen and make our dreams come true or find some resolution to things that have been hurting or crippling us. This feeling intensifies for matters beyond our control.

For Jesus, His last hour was spent demonstrating that He is, in fact, a servant to us all, so His disciples and all of us would understand how much He loves us.

Our last hours may be spent for ourselves, but Jesus spent His last hour for our sake because He knew it was not the end and that God would do something significant with His death on the cross.

Our actions will be different if we understand the eternity that awaits us in Christ. Then, our lives will be spent yearning for what is to come rather than resolving the past.

Let's spend our days preparing ourselves and each other with excitement for what is to come in him.
