open booth at Harvest Time Oentecostal Church.

Our Mannenberg leaders had an open booth at Harvest Time Oentecostal Church. So proud.

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:7‭-‬8 NIV

Written by Jung

We all have been students as well as teachers. Even if you think that you are not a leader type, you are being used as a teacher to someone such as your younger siblings or a child. As a society, we continue this role in many different ways to achieve progress, and that is how far we have come as a civilization. In short, whether you like it or not, you are playing a huge role in the world, and more importantly, in God’s Kingdom.

However, don’t stress. A teacher in Korean is 선생, and it means nothing more than someone who was born earlier. Even though some teachers would act and exercise authority as if they are superior to their students for their knowledge and wisdom, at the end of the day, no one in history can claim they were truly outstanding beyond our true teacher, Jesus Christ.

It is our responsibility and God-given privilege to share what we know with the younger generation, either in the physical or spiritual sense. You shouldn’t feel burdened or stressed because we are not looking for qualification, but we are called to share what was given to us (1Co 4:7). Also, there is no reason to take pride in it. The only thing we can take pride in is knowing Christ (Phil 3:8).

Also, students are fully allowed to learn from teachers' mistakes and even from their failures. If your leaders or teachers make horrible mistakes, don't resent them, but learn from what they are doing wrong and improve for yourself. Also, if you as a teacher or a leader have made shameful mistakes, pray that your mistakes can be used for the benefit of your students' walk with Jesus. Unless you truly desire for your students to benefit from your own humility, Jesus has much to teach you in his humility.

I believe that is the point. We are working together to grow closer to Jesus, whether you are a teacher, a student, a leader, or just a friend. Let’s continue to share the truth and love of Jesus Christ, sharing his humility because he never was anything else.
