Vuku meetings at Amanda's house in Jim Se Bos

We are having Vuku meetings at Amanda's house in Jim Se Bos, where missionary Jung and his wife Joy are serving. Vera joined us from Meannenberg for the first time, and we celebrated Helen's birthday together.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Titus 2:11‭-‬14 NIV

Written by Jung

One of the Vuku members from the House of Prosper Ministry in Mfluweni asked what the Mark of God's Seal was. It is meant to distinguish the servants of God in the book of Revelation.

In this passage, there are a few things that can be considered to describe 'the servants of God.' They are 'self-controlled in life,' 'upright,' and 'godly.'

They are all good, but my favorite is 'eager to do what is good.' Many different cultures and societies have different views on being self-controlled, upright, and even godly, as there are many different gods people serve. However, 'being eager to do what is truly good' in our God's eyes is a privilege for those who were redeemed by Jesus Christ and His love.

Let the Holy Spirit guide you in what is truly good.
